Terms and Conditions

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

1. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Arctic Artefact and its licensors.

2. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

3. Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.

4. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

In order to cancel a booking, you must inform us in writing by email to Workshop@ArcticArtefact.com

Your cancellation must be confirmed as received by us on or before the relevant dates, as set out below. All cancellations and transfers are subject to an administrative fee of 10% of the cost of the workshop.

• If your written request is received more than 48 hours before the workshop is due to begin, you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid, less the administrative fee.
• If your written request is received between 24 hours and 48 hours before the workshop you will be entitled to a 50% refund, less the administrative fee.
• If your written request is received within 24 hours before the workshop, you will not be entitled to a refund for your place.
• Cancellations requested after the workshop has started will not be considered.
• Transfer to an alternative workshop should be requested in writing at least 24 hours before the workshop begins.
• Transfer requested less than 24 hours before the workshop may be declined unless a replacement student can be found for your place prior to the start date.
• If you fail to attend a workshop no refund will be given, and no transfer request will be accepted.

If a workshop is cancelled or postponed for reasons for which we are responsible, such as staff illness, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the workshop to suit the majority of attendees. If this is not possible we will administer a full refund within 30 days of the originally scheduled workshop.

Please note that all workshops require a minimum number of attendees. If too few bookings are received, workshops may be rescheduled.

Gift vouchers are not refundable in any circumstances.

If you cancel a booking and are entitled to a refund, we will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used to pay for your purchase. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days of the day we received your valid notice of cancellation.

6. Participation & Safety

• The workshop is suitable for ages 5 and up. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Participants must follow safety instructions provided by the instructor. Arctic Artefact is not liable for any injuries caused by failure to adhere to safety guidelines.

7. Liability & Responsibility

Arctic Artefact is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.

We reserve the right to refuse service to individuals who behave disruptively or pose a risk to others.

8. Privacy Policy

By booking a workshop, you agree that Arctic Artefact may collect and store your contact details for communication purposes.

Photos taken during the workshop may be used for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested.

By attending our workshop, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
